Birthday parties can be surprisingly different depending on the children attending. One child might race through the room talking to everyone, while another hangs back quietly and watches what is happening. A successful birthday does not require every child to behave in exactly the same way. Some will run around, some will chat, some will watch carefully and others will happily switch between all three.
